These are all the spellings list I send home to parents over the course of a year for Y1. Each list is in order so each list relates to the previous one. I’ve also included some revision tests to ensure the children have mastered the spellings. The words are lifts from the common exception words and HF words for Y1. Year 1 - Building Site (Non-Chronological Report) Updated for 2019. This unit worked really well with my class and the children (especially the boys) loved writing about construction vehicles. Differentiated learning objectives and helpful presentations,notebooks and unit plan to help deliver the unit.

Use the Story Maker (fantasy stories) cards to help engage children in the art of telling stories. The prompt cards give children the opportunity to talk about their story ideas in a collaborative, fun way.
